How do I purchase a gift card?
Select an amount above — either a preset or a custom amount — and click "Buy." You'll be taken through a secure checkout. The card is delivered by email instantly.
Where can the gift card be used?
The gift card is redeemable at 960 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston — across all hourly spaces including recording studios, rehearsal rooms, production suites, and the community room.
How does the recipient use it?
The recipient books a space online at therecordco.org and applies the gift card code at checkout. No account required to use the code — just book the space and enter the card number.
How long is the gift card valid?
One full year from the purchase date. There's no rush — the recipient has plenty of time to use every dollar across any space that works for them.
Can I check the remaining balance?
Yes — click "Check Gift Card Balance" above, enter the 16-digit code from the card, and you'll see the remaining balance instantly.
What if I want to send a specific amount?
Use the custom amount field — you can enter any amount between $10 and $1,000. At $10–15/hr for rehearsal and production suites, even $50 goes a long way.
Are gift cards refundable?
Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. If you have questions before buying, email us at [email protected] and we'll help.
